Abstract
Abstract An electrolytic grinding machine having a grinding wheel comprises an electrolytic grinding device, means for detecting the electrolytic grinding current and a control system for controlling the speed at which the grinding wheel head is advanced toward a workpiece. The workpiece is ordinarily by the electrolytic grinding device. However, when the electrolytic grinding current becomes smaller than a perdetermined current such that the grinding efficiency decreases, a conventional grinding operation by the grinding wheel is automatically applied on the workpiece in response to a command signal provided by the control system.
