Abstract
Abstract Compounds of the formula CF3O(CF2O)nCF2CF2OCF CF2, wherein n is 1 to 5, are provided by reacting compounds of the formula CF3O(CF2O)nCF2COF with hexafluoropropylene epoxide, followed by dehalocarbonylation. The compounds of this invention are polymerizable to polymers which are useful as thermally stable oils and greases.
