Dependent Claim 13 words
A process according to claim 5 wherein said dialkyladamantane compound is 1,3-dihydroxy-5, 7-dimethyl-adamantane.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 61 words
A process for producing polyamides which comprises reacting an organic dinitrile with 1,3-dibromo-5,7-dimethyl adamantane at a temperature below the decomposition temperature of the reactants, in the presence of a strong acid selected from the group consisting of sulfuric acid having a concentration of 99.5 to 118% H2SO4 equivalent and polyphosphoric acid, mixing the reaction mixture with water and separating the polyamide.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 61 words
A process for producing polyamides which comprises reacting an organic dinitrile with 1,3-dichloro-5,7-dimethyl adamantane at a temperature below the decomposition temperature of the reactants, in the presence of a strong acid selected from the group consisting of sulfuric acid having a concentration of 99.5 to 118% H2SO4 equivalent and polyphosphoric acid, mixing the reaction mixture with water and separating the polyamide.
