Abstract
Abstract Spaced hot and cold bars are moved into contact with film to be sealed. The film and bars are then moved together. The film is stopped and the bars are raised and indexed rearwardly to place the cold bar in contact with the seal just made and the hot bar in contact with the film to create another seal.
