Abstract
Abstract The non-Markownikoff reaction of hydrogen sulfide with a hydrocarbon or substituted hydrocarbon having at least one olefinic linkage is accomplished by reacting hydrogen sulfide and hydrocarbon in the presence of a trivalent organic phosphorus compound as the sole initiator.
