Abstract SILOXY-CARBORANYL POLYMERS ARE PREPARED BY CONDENSATION OF BIS(HYDROXYSILYL)NEOCARBORANES, BIS(ALKOSYSILYL) NEOCARBORANES OR SILOXANYL DERIVATIVES THEREOF IN THE PRESENCE OF TETRAFLUOROETHANESULFONIC ACID. THE POLYMERS OBTAINED BY THIS PROCESS ARE THERMALLY STABLE FLUIDS AND ELASTOMERS.
