Abstract THIS INVENTION RELATES TO RIGID, NON-ELASTOMERIC,, NONCELLULAR POLYURETHANE COMPOSITIONS CHARACTERIZED BY EXCELLENT RETENTION OF TENSILE STRENGTH EVEN AFTER EXPOSURE TO HOT WATER ENVIORNMENTS FOR EXTENDED PERIODS. THE COMPOSITIONS ARE PREPARED BY THE REACTION OF 4,4''-METHYLENEBIS(CYCLOHEXYLISOCAYANATE) AND A POLYETHER POLYOL OR MIXTURE THEREOF HAVING AN AVERAGE FUNCTIONALITY OF BETWEEN ABOUT 4 AND 8 AND A HYDROXYL NUMBER OF FROM ABOUT 300 TO 600.
