Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 33 words
Polyamide according to claim 1 wherein the chain-branching agent is bis-hexamethylene triamine and sebacic acid is included in the polymerization system in amounts sufficient to increase the melt viscosity of the modified polyamide.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 25 words
The modified polyamide according to claim 1 wherein said polymer is selected from the group consisting of poly-epsilon-caprolactam, polyhexamethylene suberamide, polyhexamethylene sebacamide, and polyamino-undecanOic acid.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 33 words
A modified polyamide according to claim 1 wherein the polymer is selected from the class consisting of co-polymers of hexamethylene diammonium adipate and epsilon-caprolactam in proportions of 75/25 to 25/75 parts by weight.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 9 words
Filament or fiber of the polyamide of claim 1.
