Abstract

Abstract A pipe saddle assembly employing a flexible strap adapted to be disposed about a pipe into which a branch line is to be made. The saddle assembly includes lugs cooperating with the ends of the band and bolts for drawing the lugs together to tension the band. The bolts ride on fulcrums supported by a boss element to be drawn against the pipe. A seal ring interposed between the boss element and pipe seals against leakage.
