A method for preparing a layer composition which is characterized by applying to the surface of a substratum layer, made of synthetic rubber, a primer consisting essentially of organotrihalogenosilane represented by the general formula: RSiX3 wherein R is selected from the group consisting of vinyl radical and allyl radical, and X is a halogen atom at the rate of at least 10 g/m2, and subsequently coating the primer-treated surface with room temperature-curing type silicon rubber.
