Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 23 words
The process according to claim 1, wherein the particulate material has a particle size of from about 0.005 mm to about 2 mm.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 30 words
The process according to claim 1, wherein said 2-pyrrolidone is admixed with the alkaline polymerization catalyst and the particulate material, and the CO2 is then bubbled through the resulting admixture.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 99 words
A process for the polymerization of 2-pyrrolidone to form a solid polymer, which comprises admixing 2-pyrrolidone with an alkaline polymerization catalyst, carbon dioxide as a polymerization activator, and a particulate material, the particulate material being added to the admixture from a source external of the admixture, the particulate material being a partially polymerized reaction mass prepared by polymerizing 2-pyrrolidone in the presence of an alkaline polymerization catalyst and carbon dioxide as a polymerization activator, the amount of said partially polymerized reaction mass being from about 0.3 to about 10 percent by weight, based on the weight of the 2-pyrrolidone.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 30 words
The process according to claim 4, wherein said 2-pyrrolidone is admixed with the alkaline polymerization catalyst and the particulate material, and the CO2 is then bubbled through the resulting admixture.
