Abstract
Abstract A novel grinder for provided for notching and gashing end mills in order to grind novel and improved shapes of the cutting edges and land or tooth faces of the end mill. This grinding action is especially valuable on ball end mills because the improved shape of the cutting edges provides more efficient cutting action, a longer life, and a better chip flow away from the cutting edges of the cutter.
