Abstract
Abstract A nuclear reactor fuel element assembly which includes a plurality of elongated fuel members contained in a wrapper tube and supported by a plurality of spaced support grids. Each of the support grids includes grid straps which interconnect to form a grid cell for each fuel member, and each cell has one resilient point of support on each of its four walls for supporting its respective fuel member, the points of support of one grid cell being offset with respect to the points of support of the adjacent grid cell.
