Abstract
Abstract A direct current motor having a coil moving in a magnetic field to provide force to drive a piston in one direction and a spring for driving the piston in the opposite direction. A circuit is provided for controlling the flow of current through the coil, including a transistor connected in series with the coil and a d.c. source. A capacitor whose state of charge varies as a function of the back EMF generated by the coil is connected for controlling the conductivity state of the transistor as a function of the capacitor''s state of charge.
