Abstract
Abstract The oxides of nitrogen content of a gas stream can be reduced by contacting the gas stream with a catalyst consisting essentially of neodymium oxide and barium oxide on a suitable support at elevated temperatures. The catalysts are especially useful in reducing the nitric oxide content of the exhaust gas of internal combustion engines.
