Abstract THIS INVENTION RELATES TO TUFTED CARPETS WHICH ARE BACKSIZED WITH A POLYMERIC MATERIAL CONTAINING A COPOLYMER OF ETHYLENE AND VINYL ACETATE. IN THE PROCESS OF MAKING THE CARPET THE POLYMERIC COMPOSITION IS APPLIED TO THE BACK SIDE OF THE CARPET AS A HOT-MELT.
