Abstract A NON-AQUEOUS PROCESS FOR DEACIDIFYING AND PRESERVING CELLULOSIC MATERIALS BY MEANS OF A SOLUTION OF AN ALKALI OR ALKALIN EARTH ALKOXIDE, OR MIXTURES THEREOF, IN AN ORGANIC SOLVENT THEREFOR.
