Abstract
Abstract Means to control the charging of a rechargeable battery and which means include a spring restrained pressure responsive diaphragm within the battery and a pair of electrical contacts in circuit with the battery and the charging means for the battery. A switch actuator is moved by the diaphragm to actuate the contacts and open the battery charging circuit when a predetermined charge condition of the battery is reached.
