Abstract A BRIGHT-ZINC PLATING BATH IN WHICH THE PRIMARY BRIGHTENING AGENT CONSISTS OF A REACTION MIXTURE OF POLYAMINES, SALTS OF THE METALS OF GROUPS V AND VI OF THE PERIODIC TABLE AND SULFUR-RELEASING ORGANIC COMPOUNDS. THE SULFURSPLITTING COMPOUNDS ARE PREFERABLY ALIPHATIC AROMATIC AND HETEROCYCLIC COMPOUNDS CONTAINING SULFUR AND INCLUDE MERCAPTANE, THIOCOMPOUNDS AND THE LIKE.
