Abstract
Abstract Aqueous solutions containing halogenated phenolic germicidal compositions are stabilized against color change on exposure to light by providing in the solutions an effective amount of a discoloration inhibitor selected from the group consisting of alpha-phellandrene, allo ocimene, ocimene, terpinolene, myrcene, isoprene, rosin, tall oil, myrcene hydrate, and abietic acid. The solutions may also contain up to 35 percent of a detergent and other conventional detergent adjuvants.
