Abstract A METHOD OF FABRICATING ALLOYED JUNCTION SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICES IS DISCLOSED IN WHICH THE JUNCTION IS PREPARED IN THE FORM OF A MESA HAVING A PREDETERMINED POSITION AND CONFIGURATION. THE ALLOY JUNCTION IS FORMED WITHIN THAT PROTRUSION, THEREBY TO CONTROL THE SPREAD OF THE ALLOYING MATERIAL.
