Abstract A RESUABLE INK RELEASING MEMBER IS DISCLOSED HAVING A POLYESTER FILM SUBSTRATE, A BINDER COAT OF A POLYESTER MATERIAL OVER THE SUBSTRATE, AND A PLASTIC INK RELEASING LAYER COVERING THE BINDER. THE PLASTIC LAYER CONTAINS A COMBINATION OF DYE AND PIGMENT ALONG WITH OIL WHICH FUNCTIONS AS A SOLVENT FOR THE DYE AND A DISPERSANT FOR THE PIGMENT AS WELL AS A VEHICLE FOR THE INK WHICH IS RELEASED FROM THE PLASTIC LAYER WHEN THE REUSABLE INK RELEASING MEMBER IS SUBJECTED TO PRESSURE.
