Abstract
Abstract The invention disclosed is directed to a flexible printing plate having magnetic particles disposed in nonprinting regions thereof and to a method for removably securing the plate to a printing press element having magnetic means associated therewith. Also disclosed is a printing press saddle having magnetic means for cooperating with the printing plate disposed magnetic particles to removably secure the plate to the saddle for printing use. The present invention provides an effective means for rapidly replacing printing plates used in high-speed printing operations.
