Abstract
Abstract Calcium hypochlorite compositions, suitable for bleaching and sanitation uses, are provided which have lowered rates of propagation of decomposition when heated. These novel compositions contain 75 to 82 percent of calcium hypochlorite and 6 to 12 percent of water, balance usual diluents of calcium hypochlorite including calcium chloride, carbonate, hydroxide and sodium chloride.
