Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 9
Claim 1
Independent Claim 105 words
A handbag comprising a pair of side walls, a pair of connector members secured to at least one of said side walls in longitudinally spaced relationship thereon, each of said connector members having a pair of spaced parallel connector means defining an upper and lower connector means respectively, extending parallel to the longitudinal axis of said side wall, a handle having a split ring connector element at each end thereof pivotally connected to the upper connector means of each connector member and a pair of ornament members, each having a cross pin connector element pivotally connected to the lower connector means of each connector member.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 105 words
A handbag comprising a pair of side walls, a pair of connector members secured to at least one of said side walls in longitudinally spaced relationship thereon, each of said connector members having a pair of spaced parallel connector means defining an upper and lower connector means respectively, extending parallel to the longitudinal axis of said side wall, a handle having a split ring connector element at each end thereof pivotally connected to the upper connector means of each connector member and a pair of ornament members, each having a cross pin connector element pivotally connected to the lower connector means of each connector member.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 33 words
The combination set forth in claim 1 in which each of said connector members has a plurality of prongs extending through the side wall of said handbag to secure the connector members thereto.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 71 words
The combination set forth in claim 1 in which each of said connector members has a plurality of prongs extending through the side wall of said handbag, a washer is positioned on the inner surface of said side wall, said washer having a plurality of openings through each of which an associated prong extends, each of said prongs being bent over said washer to secure the connector member in fixed position.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 49 words
The combination set forth in claim 1 in which each of said connector members has a top wall with a pair of spaced parallel side walls depending therefrom, each of said pairs of connector means comprising a pair of transversely aligned notches in each of said parallel side walls.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 103 words
The combination set forth in claim 1 in which each of said connector members has a top wall, a pair of spaced parallel end walls and a pair of spaced parallel side walls, the end and side walls depending from the top wall, each of said pairs of connector means comprises a pair of transversely aligned notches in each of the free edges of said parallel side walls, each of said end walls having prongs extending outwardly from the free edge thereof perpendicular to said top wall, said prongs extending through the side wall of said handbag to secure the connector member thereto.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 130 words
The combination set forth in claim 1 in which each of said connector members has a top wall, a pair of spaced parallel end walls and a pair of spaced parallel side walls, each of said pairs of connector means comprise a pair of transversely aligned notches in each of the free edges of said parallel side walls, each of said end walls having prongs extending outwardly from the free edge thereof perpendicular to said top wall, a washer is positioned on the inner surface of said side wall of said handbag aligned with an associated connector member, each washer having a plurality of openings through each of which an associated prong extends, each of said prongs being bent over said washer to secure the connector member in fixed position.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 76 words
The combination set forth in claim 4 in which the connector element at each end of the handle comprises a split ring member carried by the end of the handle, the portion of said ring member adjacent the split defining a pair of longitudinally aligned legs, each of said legs extending through one of the pair of transversely aligned notches defining the upper connector means, pivotally to connect the connector element to the upper connector means.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 49 words
The combination set forth in claim 4 in which each of said ornament members has a pivot bar at one end thereof, said pivot bar extending through a pair of transversely aligned notches defining the lower connector means pivotally to connect the ornament member to the lower connector means.
