Abstract
Abstract A tunable solid state microwave oscillator comprising a solid state device having negative resistance characteristics connected in series with the tuning circuit of a YIG resonator, the tuning circuit in turn being connected in series with the output of the oscillator. An impedance transforming network is connected in series between the YIG-tuning circuit and the output. A selective attenuator network may be coupled between the impedance transformer network and the output.
