Abstract
Abstract Catalysts are provided which are useful in the oxidation of olefins to aldehydes and conjugated dienes and in ammoxidation of olefins to nitriles. The catalysts comprise the combined oxides of uranium and arsenic on a catalyst support and the combined oxides of uranium and arsenic promoted by molybdenum, boron, vanadium, tin, nickel, bismuth, chromium, iron, manganese, zinc, tungsten, antimony, cerium, cobalt or rhenium.
