Abstract
Abstract A method is disclosed for producing shaped plastic articles in the form of a solid water-in-oil emulsion wherein the water phase exists as discrete colloidal-size water droplets dispersed in a continuous oil phase consisting of the thermoset polymerization product of an essentially linear unsaturated polyester and a vinyl monomer. The foremost utility of the disclosed method is that it provides shaped articles whose surfaces are substantially free of irregularities in the nature of pimples.
