Abstract
Abstract A method is disclosed of selectively displacing hydride with fluoride at chain silicon positions in organopolysiloxane compounds. Also, 3-fluoroheptamethyltrisiloxane and the polymeric fluoro derivatives of liquid silicone hydrides are disclosed which have high thermal stability properties and are useful as high temperature-resistant release coatings.
