Abstract
Abstract Fire resistant polyurethane compositions are prepared by adding to the urethane-forming reaction mixture a substituted ethane diphosphonate having the formula WHEREIN R1 and R2 are hereinafter defined, R3 is hydrogen or an organic radical, and n is an integer having a value of 1 or 2.
