Abstract A GAS BURNER INCLUDES STAMPED SHEET METAL TOP AND BOTTOM PLATES OF SIMILAR CONFIGURATION AND CAPABLE OF BEING FORMED WITH A SINGLE DIE. THE PLATE EDGES ARE SPACED APART TO FORM A GAP RECEIVING A METAL STRIP INCLUDING BURNER PORTS AND INCLUDING PROJECTING TABS EXTENDING THROUGH SLOTS IN THE PLATES AND BENT OVER TO CLAMP THE STRIP BETWEEN THE PLATES.
