Abstract
Abstract The novel rubber compound and tire tread made therefrom include a silica-filled unsaturated rubber compound and a reactive olefinic coupling agent such as 5-triethoxysilyl norbornene. The coupling agent is a compound which forms a bond or connection between the rubber polymer and the silica.
