Abstract
Abstract To improve the key supporting structure of a keyboard musical instrument, there are formed on both sides of the rear bottom plane of a key two opposite grooves extending crosswise of the key with an intermediate partition wall located therebetween, and on the upper edge portion of a key supporting plate there is formed a notch corresponding to the intermediate partition wall between the two grooves. The key is supported on the supporting plate by fitting the intermediate partition wall of the key into the notch of the supporting plate with the upper edge portion of the supporting plate received in the grooves.
