Abstract
Abstract A novel dual head belt plater has been disclosed which can plate continuously selected portions of a stamped strip forming an electrical connector component blank or a blank as a part of a connector. Another embodiment of the novel belt plater allows continuous plating with one or more metals a continuous strip on a different metal whereby an electrodeposit of a certain or varying width is obtained. In a further embodiment, a machine accomplishes plating in a substantially continuous manner by moving continuously a workpiece over a periphery of a drum carrying an anode covered with a belt.
