Abstract
Abstract Vapor phase chromatography wherein a siloxy carboranyl liquid partitioning phase having recurring structural units of the following formula is used: WHERE EACH R and R'' substituent is an independently selected alkyl group of one to eight carbon atoms or aryl group of up to 10 carbon atoms and x is 1 to 5. These siloxy carboranyl partitioning phases are particularly useful at high temperatures.
