Abstract
Abstract An electric motor system consisting of switching means, such as an inverter, and a synchronous motor, means to promote the commutation action of the switching means at starting, comprising two polyphase windings mounted on the stator of the synchronous motor with magnetic coupling, one of the polyphase windings being connected to produce the rotating magnetic field with the direct current source through the switching means and the other polyphase winding being energized by an external alternating current source in order to supply commutating energy to the switching means.
