Abstract
Abstract The composite wall is constituted by an assembly of identical main elements each comprising at least one ceramic block which is fitted in a metallic support. The main elements are assembled together by means of trapezoidal prismatic spacer members which are fabricated from insulating refractory ceramic material and placed between corrugated stainless steel sheets which permit a circulation of coolant gas in contact with the main elements.
