Abstract
Abstract Water swellable cellulosic fibers, for example, cotton, or blends or mixtures thereof with synthetic fibers, for example, polyester fibers, uniformly dyed to blue or turquoise shades with essentially water insoluble, nonvattable, 1,4-diamino-2,3disubstituted anthraquinone dyes, for example, 1,4-diamino-2,3bis(phenylthio)anthraquinone, said dyed fibers being fast to washing, dry-cleaning and crocking and having a reflectance color value (S'') after scour of at least about 2.
