Abstract
Abstract An angularly and vertically adjustable head rest which is secured to a back rest of a motor vehicle seat. The heat rest may be immobilized in a desired height position by locking mechanism disposed entirely within and surrounded by the foam plastic cushion of the head rest. For height adjustment a first locking mechanism may be released by lateral pressure applied against one edge portion of the head rest and for tilting adjustment a second locking mechanism may be released by pressure applied to the opposite side edge of the head rest.
