Abstract

Abstract A copy medium comprising a support, a photoconductor, and a reversible oxidizing agent is exposed to produce a latent image of improved stability and then, after a time period of at least 30 seconds, contacted with image-forming materials to produce an irreversible image. Optionally, the reversible oxidizing agent may be applied to the copy medium immediately after exposure. An acidified copy medium is especially preferred since the stability of the latent image is much improved.
