Abstract LOW FOAM SANITIZER COMPOSITIONS ARE PREPARED FROM ANIONIC SURFACTANTS OR BLENDS THEREOF IN AN ACID MEDIA. THE ANIONIC SURFACTANTS USED IN THE PRESENT INVENTION ARE THOSE HAVING LOW FOAMING CHARACTERISTICS. THESE ANIONICS ARE MEMBERS OF THE CLASS OF SULFONATED OLEIC ACIDS, DERIVATIES OF SULFONATED OLEIC ACIDS, ALKALI METAL SALTS OF SULFOSUCCINIC ACID ESTERS, AND ALKALI METAL SALTS OF ALKYL SULFATED.
