Abstract

Abstract A photographic silver halide light-sensitive emulsion is enhanced in sensitivity without an attendant increase in fog by addition to the silver halide emulsion of a 1,2-glycol of the general formula WHEREIN R1, R2 and R3 represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, and R4 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, an alkoxyalkyl group, an aryloxyalkyl group, or an allyloxyalkyl group.
