Abstract
Abstract TO ACCELERATE THE CURING OF CONCRETE, HEAT IS APPLIED TO A FLUID CONCRETE MIX SURFACE. THE TEMPERATURE OF THE MIX IS SE OUTER MIX SURFACE. THE TEMPERATURE OF THE MIX IS SENSED AND THE APPLICATION OF THE HEAT IS TERMINATED WHEN THAT TEMPERATURE REACHES A PREDTERMINED LEVEL SUCH THAT THE IMMEDIATELY SUBSEQUENT EXOTHERMIC HEATING WITHIN THE MIX FURTHER INCREASES ITS TEMPERATURE ONLY TO A SUBSTANTIALLY PREDETERMINED MAXIMUM VALUE THAT CORRESPONDS TO SUBSTANTIALLY MAXIMUM SUBEQUENTLY-ULTIMATE COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF THE CONCRETE.
