Abstract
Abstract A spray nozzle orifice member which produces a flat fan-shaped spray making it ideally suited for the application of coatings. The orifice is formed by the intersection of a straight bottomed slot on one side and a curved bottom V-shaped groove on the opposite side of said member. The improvement resides in the ease and economy of fabrication of such a spray nozzle member as a function of the groove-slot combination concept.
