Abstract A NEW AMINE CATALYST FOR A POLYURETHANE REACTION IS 4,4''-DIMORPOLINODIETHYL ETHER. THE CATALYST IS SPECIFIC FOR THE ISOCYANATE WATER PORTION OF THE URETHANE REACTION AND, THEREFORE, IS A VALUABLE MEANS OF BALANCING THE COMPETING REACTIONS DURING URETHANE FORMATION. FLEXIBLE POLYURETHANE FOAMS MAY BE USED, FOR EXAMPLE, IN CUSHIONING, WHILE RIGID POLYURETHANE FOAMS MAY BE USED, FOR EXAMPLE, AS INSULATION.
