Abstract
Abstract A process for improving the handling of fibrous materials made of polyester by impregnating said fibrous materials with a solution containing an alkaline substance and a polymeric substance soluble or dispersible in said alkaline solution, and then treating said fibrous materials with dry heat at a temperature higher than 120* C. and lower than the melting point of the polyester fiber.
