Abstract
Abstract A liquid developer for use in developing an electrostatic latent image formed on an electrostatic recording material or an electrophotographic copying material which is prepared by dispersing, in a suitable carrier liquid, a toner consisting substantially of pigment particles whose surfaces are coated with a coating agent selected from the group consisting of cyclized rubber, a resin containing cyclized rubber, and a resin combining a resin having a high solubility for said carrier liquid and a resin having a low solubility for said carrier liquid.
