Abstract
Abstract An electroplate honing technique that utilizes mechanical abrading or honing to clean the metallic surface of a workpiece, then with the tool acting as an electrode, utilizes an electroplate honing cycle to plate or deposit metal on the surface of the workpiece, then terminating the flow of current and utilizing a honing cycle to generate the surface finish desired by mechanical abrasion.
