Abstract
Abstract Stability of viscous liquid hydrocarbon emulsions, wherein the hydrocarbon is present in a major proportion as the dispersed phase and emulsifiers do not represent more than 2 wt. percent of the total emulsion, is improved by the addition of certain dicarboxylic acid derivatives derived from reaction with amines and alcohols.
