Abstract
Abstract A container closure is constructed of a metal shell having a primer coating of a mixture of a vinyl chloride copolymer, a thermosetting phenol-aldehyde resin, and an epoxy resin on the interior surface thereof and a polyethylene liner disposed therein and bonded to the primer coated interior surface by an adhesion promoting coating comprised of a blend of polyethylene and polyvinylbutyral.
